- A household already approved for boarding on Shinyu
- Daily photo and video updates from the caregiver
- Notes on feeding, meds, and how the stay is going
- The same caregiver again, if the stay goes well

In-home sitting
A caregiver stays in your home so your pet keeps their bed, yard, and routine.
Best for pets who are happiest at home, or when you have more than one animal.
When to use it
Longer trips, multi-pet homes, or pets who don’t travel well.
What to expect
- Overnights in your home, or extended days if that’s what you need
- Mail, plants, and lights if you ask — the house looks lived in
- Your pet’s usual food, walks, and sleeping spots
- Messaging in the app the whole time you’re away

Dog walks
Neighborhood walks with GPS, so you know the route, the pace, and the person.
Best for weekday exercise when you’re at work, or extra energy on busy days.
When to use it
Midday walks, rainy days you can’t duck out, or a standing weekday schedule.

Check-in visits
A drop-in for feeding, litter, a bathroom break, and a little company.
Best for cats, puppies, and dogs who just need a midday reset — not a full walk.
When to use it
Long workdays, dinner out, or cats who don’t need a sitter overnight.

- A set window of time in your home
- Feeding, water, litter, and a potty break as requested
- Photos so you can see how it went
